Easy Peasy Steamy Pin

I KNOW, I KNOW. I have been horrible at posting this month! I have TONS to post and share, but I have been participating in NaNoWriMo and it has taken all of my free time.

But quickly, I will post this easy little craft I made for my Steampunk Workshop at the library.

Needed: Pinbacks, bead wire, metal stickers, hot glue, gears or little trinkets, scrapbook paper and a clear plastic charm (I raided the Tim Holtz section at Michaels).

I carefully clued the paper to the the back of the clear charm. (I just dotted it on the corners) Spray adhesive would probably work as well. I glued another clear charm (a smaller one) to the back of the paper/big charm. Then I attached the metal sticker corners and the gear using hot glue. Then I strung the wire through the hole of the smaller clear charm that I attached on the back, twisted it and wrapped it around. I opened an O ring and attached the little key.

Seriously. Super easy. Awesome things don't have to be so hard. :)
