Reading Spools

So, we stole this idea:


And glued some gears on it:
Actually, my beau was the inspired one who added the brads and gears. It looks pretty amazing.


I used some very thick handmade paper to type the readings on and then hot glued and wrapped them around the spools.

Here is a quote we added:

I attached the ribbon to the paper using a ribbon clamp. I clamped the teeth onto the paper (again, it is really heavy) and tied the ribbon through the other side. I only had three clamps, so I sewed ribbon to the edge of one of the papers. It worked perfectly.

There are 2 more readings that are too long to fit on spools, so I will have to figure that one out...
