Bridal Bouquet, Update #1

I have started to work on my bouquet. Which is fun...but...TIME CONSUMING. And floral tape is so annoying. But it will be totally worth it.

Stage one--wire
Note the key and the Deathly Hallows symbol...

Stage 2--floral taped
I have decided to go with metals--silver, gold , brass; whites and rhinestones. Then I will accent with some purples and pinks to match the fabric I want to use. My fiance's mum has so kindly sent me some brooches to use, two of which are pictured. The great thing about the bouquet is how long it will last. It won't droop or die. And, when the average bridal bouquet costs $300 (!!), when all is said and done, I will have spent maybe $25 (depending on the remaining brooch situation). I plan to incorporate some watch parts and more keys into the design as well.

And seriously. This is an EASY project. It is just best to do it slowly in front of the TV or while watching a movie.

My kitten, however, LOVES the floral wire stem. I have to be careful...
